In response to the national call for widespread entrepreneurship and innovation, and to serve the educational mission of ostering virtue and persistence in innovation, the International Institute of Finance has established a campus-based startup incubator. This incubator, henceforth referred to simply as the Incubator, provides early-stage entrepreneurial projects with office space, entrepreneurial guidance, comprehensive startup coaching, investment and financing integration, and opportunities for maker interactions and exchanges. Till now, the Incubator has hosted over 80 alumni enterprises or projects, covering fields such as big data, new materials, software, education, media, and business consulting.
