The IIF-UCAS Digital Decision Joint Research Center at the International Institute of Finance brings together talents from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. It effectively coordinates resources from both institutions to create a synergistic research effort, collaboratively advancing the digital transformation of industries and the industrialization of digital technologies, and cultivating a robust digital ecosystem.
This research center focuses on the intersection of national strategies such as the digital economy and platform economy, exploring two main directions: digital decision theory and platform digital decision-making. By partnering with governments and leading enterprises, the center aims to establish an open system for digital decision-making. It will develop a globally leading repository of data decision scenarios, models, algorithms, and service components, and create 3-5 large-scale application demonstrations. The center seeks to break free from the reliance on traditional optimization software controlled by foreign entities, providing examples and support to ensure that China's digital decision-making software maintains a leading position on the international stage.
