Research Center for Financial Security

The Financial Security Research Center, founded under the strategic planning of the IIF think tank, aims to establish an international and open research center. It focuses on enhancing comprehensive research capabilities in education and research, providing professional advice and consulting services to governments and enterprises. The center comprises research directions such as financial technology, data security, new real estate finance, blockchain technology and applications, and internet finance. Leveraging alumni resources worldwide, it offers consulting services to domestic enterprises and government departments, producing internal reference reports and research consultation reports. Recognized as the only key think tank for financial technology by the Science and Technology Department of Anhui Province, the center has consistently been rated excellent for several years.

Its main activities include: 1. Investigating barriers to financial technology development and solving the problem of the lack of professional empirical research on the development of financial technology and the allocation of scientific and technological innovation resources through funded research projects. 2. Clarifying the foundation and development environment of the financial industry through government planning projects, identifying major contradictions and issues facing high-quality development, and proposing specific paths and directions for financial industry development. It provides strategic guidance and specific measures for key development and nurturing areas, financial industry transformation and upgrading, development of multi-level capital markets, and financial regulation. 3. Establishing a mature data prediction and analysis intelligent modeling platform through intelligent modeling systems, aiding enterprises in making informed decisions.

The Financial Security Research Center has undertaken a total of 31 medium to large-scale projects, including tasks assigned by provincial science and technology departments, projects under the government's 14th Five-Year Plan, enterprise-oriented and other cross-sectional projects. It has obtained 14 software copyrights and multiple patents, including systems for electronic reading management, operational activity deployment management, personnel counting based on LSTM models, and infrared signal-based personnel recognition. Additionally, it has achieved various research outcomes including intelligent modeling systems and intelligent investment advisory systems. The center has organized over 60 lectures, engages actively in social welfare, initiates charity activities to support underprivileged students, and has been honored as the 14th batch 115 Innovation Team in Anhui Province.
