The Digital Industry Research Center was established in April 2021 and is headed by Professor Bi Gongbing. The center focuses on the scientific and technological upgrading of the digital industry, empowering digital enterprises with science and technology, improving the level of modern management, and providing digital industry development consulting for government agencies.

With the purpose of empowering industrial development based on the digital economy, the research center focuses on new technologies, new industries, new formats and new applications, and studies the effective methods and measures of the digital economy to promote regional economic and social development under the new situation in a forward-looking, objective, open, independent, rigorous and pragmatic spirit, and provides products and services from different perspectives and depths of the digital economy, such as scientific research, policy consultation, achievement transformation, and think tank construction.

In the future, the center will provide support for the province and even the whole country to expand new space for economic development and cultivate new momentum for economic growth.
